Senior Financial Consultant

Job description The Consulting Services practice of Keegan Linscott offers specialized service in forensic accounting, litigation support (including the provision of expert witness testimony), fraud investigation and prevention, bankruptcy/reorganization, mergers and acquisition, and accounting support/management support services.

Keegan Linscott’s consulting services group has experience in providing quality litigation support (including the provision of expert witness testimony), conducting complex fraud and forensic accounting engagements, assessing corporate controls and fraud risks, providing temporary controller and CFO support, guiding our clients through mergers and acquisitions, providing valuation estimates for bankruptcy, litigation and merger and acquisition purposes, and assisting companies or creditors through the complexities of bankruptcy and reorganizations.

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Financial Consultant with 7 years or more of experience that can be leveraged within our practice, including the supervision and/or management of our team members, and, at times, our clients’ staff.

Requirements and Preferences:

  • Expertise in accounting required
  • Good communication, including through the preparation of formal written reports, required
  • Ability to think on your feet, and run client engagements from start to finish (with direction and/or consultation from others within the firm), which includes planning, executing, directing, and completing projects and services and managing to budget, required.
  • Experience in any combination of forensic accounting, data analysis, litigation consulting, bankruptcy, fraud investigation, merger and acquisition, assessment of financial controls, team management, and other business skills that would help assist our clients is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field. Master’s degree in related field preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in an Accounting/Finance Role with Leadership Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Vlookups, SumIfs, etc.) and Microsoft Word
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
  • Ability to travel to meet with clients and assist in investigations.
  • Analytical with experience in financial analysis and modeling.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
  • Candidates who possess and maintain (or working towards obtaining) a valid CPA license or other approved credential such as the CMA, CIRA, CFE, or CFF are preferred (support for obtaining these licenses, or a combination thereof, will be provided to qualified candidates).
